Here is another video montage of Natalia. It begins last spring with her doing some of her favorite things, running around the house and talking on the phone. Then it goes into the summer with trips to the beach and Mexico and ends with her singing some of her favorite songs that she learned at school. Video is just over 10 minutes long.
Here is a video montage of Natalia. It begins last summer when she could sit and crawl. Then you see as she learns to push things, walk on her own, and finally dance in the last clip. The video is about 15 minutes long, so it may take a while to load. We tried to make it as short as possible, but our daughter is just too cute to be contained in a few short minutes! Think of it as procrastination material. Enjoy!
One of the many wonderful parts of being a teacher is that you get the summer off and I have been lucky enough to spend it with Natalia. We have been busy with many activities: going to the beach (swimming, playing in the sand and only tasting it 4 or 5 times until deciding it’s not so yummy), going to Drumlin Farm, walking around Garden in the Woods and seeing giant bug sculptures, exploring the play space at the mall, visiting my parents at a cottage on Cape Cod and Roger’s parents in San Diego. But, most of the time we are just hanging around the house exploring the world. It must be pretty incredible to be a baby when literally everything is a new adventure. So, you usually think about your child driving at age 16, but ours has already started cruising the roadways. She can turn her car on and shift gears. However, she only goes in reverse, so watch out!
Today was a very exciting day at our house — Natalia started to crawl! We have not completely baby proofed our house but I think now it will become our first priority. She’s still not very fast but it was only yesterday, literally, that she was taking a tentative step here and there, so my guess is that tomorrow she will be much faster. Check out the video below.
