Well Lisa probably mentioned the prettyness of Montreal but the real sites were at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Mike and I got tickets to see the Gran Prix and it was just simply amazing.I decided to get us tickets for the general admission and I must say I was a little weary about lining up to snatch a place in line. As it turns out it worked out pretty nicely for us.The one thing I would say is that if you want to actually see the cars and be able to follow the race you should get an assigned seat for the weekend. However nothing can beat being next to the track when the cars go flying by. The video will give you an idea of what I mean.

On the weekend of June 9/10 we went up to Montreal, Canada with Lauren and Mike. Mike and Roger went to see the Formula 1 race (Roger will write more about that later, you can also look at Mike’s car blog, link on the side). Lauren and I went sightseeing. Here are some photos of Mike and Roger at the racetrack finish line, Roger and I next to a tiny Fiat 500 (these were not the cars racing, people just park them on the street for show), and me in the botanical gardens.
