It seems like it was only yesterday that I was dodging cars in LA rush hour traffic. Tonight I find myself on another adventure which includes a 3hr delay out of Chicago on my way home. Trying to make the best use of my time, as any self respecting über productive member of corporate America would, I’ve categorized all my ongoing projects in order of importance and have come up with a strategy to work from the top down. Without wasting another minute I will take on the most important project: catching up on my Top Gear episodes (as soon as I finish writing this blog entry of course). You are probably thinking that there surely must be something more important I could be doing, and I would agree with you, only I’m not in the mood to watch The Transporter or The Transporter 2.

For better or worse this trip has not been as ‘eventful’ as the trip out to LA turned out to be. As with Bill I got to enjoy some of the benefits of the seasoned traveler. I got to fly on economy plus, the only real difference between economy plus and economy is the space between rows of seats. The trip did not go without it’s share of hiccups. Stephen planned this trip pretty well and even got us a rental car from a real rental car company equipped with an everlost satellite navigation system. Neither one of us had been to Columbus Ohio but we both knew that where the gps device wanted us to go was not the right direction. As a matter of fact everlost was lost for the duration of our trip. Not to mention that it was unable to find a satellite if there was a cloud in the sky.

The one sad part of the trip was that SMP was sick for most of it and to top it off he had to spend his birthday with me.
