For the Friday practice and even during qualifying it seemed that the McLaren’s had the pace to keep up with Ferrari. But once the race got underway you could clearly see that it wasn’t even close and Ferrari went on to win their third one/two victory of the year. The victory assured them of winning the constructors championship (after McLaren’s points deduction) but sadly for them all talk around the paddock and in the media is still about McLaren and their two drivers. With three races to go its getting pretty tight at the top. It will be interesting to see how the drivers do in Fuji next week. The circuit is new to all drivers so that should be a good equilizer.
Alonso and Hamilton are now only two points apart in the drivers championship with Kimi and Massa 13 and 20 points behind respectively:

Hamilton 97
Alonso 95
Kimi 84
Massa 77

In all it was a pretty boring race where the top four all finished like they stared. The only really exciting moment was the start when Alonso and Hamilton were fighting for third spot. Alonso forced Hamilton out ont he first turn and then Hamilton tried to get back in it but was not able to get third place from Alonso.
